Troutville Rest Area on 81 South To Close through September

As part of the 81 corridor improvements currently in planning or under construction, VDOT announced that the Troutville area rest area on I-81 South will close through early September to extend entrance and exit ramps used at the facility to enhance safety and reduce congestion. There will also be additional truck parking spaces included in the project. The project is scheduled to be completed in early September 2022.
