As the number and severity of allegations against Hollywood magnate Harvey Weinstein continues to escalate, the moviemaker has mounted a last-ditch effort to bring down the NRA and President Donald Trump.
The producer of ultra-violent movies such as āPulp Fiction,ā āKill Bill,ā and āInglourious Basterds,ā issued aĀ statementĀ in which he wrote, āI cannot be more remorseful about the people I hurt and I plan to do right by them. I am going to need a place to channel that anger, so Iāve decided that Iām going to give the NRA my full attention.ā He added, āIām making a movie about our President, perhaps we can make it a joint retirement party.ā
Standing in for Glenn Beck today on āGlenn,ā Doc Thompson, and Producers Kal Elsebai and Kris Cruz, could not believe the mind-boggling level of hypocrisy in Weinsteinās statements.
āItās easy to say that after youāve made hundreds of millions of dollars and youāve acquired all the power of having made those movies,ā said Doc. āAre you going to give up all the money, credit, and everything for making those movies?ā
āHe also says āI canāt be a hypocrite.ā He says āI canāt go out and do things like that,’ā added Kal. āBut itās okay that heās been assaulting women?ā
