The town staff and council of Luray have decided to stop adding fluoride to the local drinking water. According to an official statement, the fluoride treatment will end in early September, following a 90-day notification rule set by the Virginia Department of Health.

Residents will find a notice about this change in their utility bills dated June 25, and printed copies were also hand-delivered to apartment buildings and other community groups on Tuesday. For any questions or more details, people are encouraged to contact the Town office.
