The Harrisonburg City School system is changing its COVID Mask guidance as of today, March 3, 2022.
From the Harrisonburg City Schools Website:
In accordance with the updated masking guidance released by the CDC, wearing masks on buses will be optional in HCPS effective Thursday, March 3. Masks for staff will now also be optional. We will continue to have masks available for those who want one and request that visitors to our schools be willing to wear one if asked by someone with underlying medical conditions.
The school board voted this week based on the state law that went into effect as of March 1.
