According to reports, fire crews from Shenandoah County and surrounding areas responded to a fire call at 2:45 a.m. Saturday morning at Randy’s Do It Best Hardware Store in Mount Jackson.
From Timberville FD Facebook: TVFD was dispatched to assist in mutual aid for a commercial structure fire in Mount Jackson. Engine 653 responded with 5 volunteers on board. Crews were on scene into the late morning helping contain the fire.
Shen Co Fire Officials report the building as a total loss with estimates of value ranging for the building and contents at over $2 million dollars
