iHeartRadio stations in Harrisonburg and Staunton -and- our friends at Coffman Funeral Home, recently put out a call for all area students to name their" Best Teacher Ever". Entries were uploaded to our websites during the month of September as the school year began.

Mrs. Long is the nicest person I ever met! She’s super fun! She likes to tell jokes, she makes learning fun and she cheers everyone up. I smile every time I see her. She was my teacher 2 years ago when I was in 4th grade and she’s still my pen pal writing letters back and forth. When I grow up I want to be just like her! She’s my favorite teacher and those are the reasons why. ~ Brooklyn S.
