Rockingham County Fair Announces
2020 Fair still happening
Rockingham County— June 15 — The 2020 Rockingham County Fair will be celebrating it’s theme “Rolling Out the Red Carpet in 2020” the week of August 17 - 22. The Rockingham County Fair Board and Staff has worked very closely with the Virginia Department of Health and State and Local Government officials to ensure the safest possible fair.
We look for guidelines for how fairs operate to be coming out soon, as we move into Phase 3. As we move forward in reopening Virginia, the Rockingham County Fair Association will be working to ensure our fair is safe for all those who want to attend.
Safety precautions already in place:
• Online Gate Admission Ticket Sales
o Operating at a limited capacity
• Online Grandstand Event Ticket Sales
o Limited Tickets Sales for Grandstand Events
• Increased Handwashing Stations and Sanitizing Stations around the grounds
• Sanitizing Plan for Bleachers, Bathrooms and other high touch services
• Widen Walkways with directions for people to follow
As more guidelines are developed, we will be creating plans to adhere to them.
