Commissioner Bruce Alger confirmed Thursday that the Valley League has canceled its 2020 season, which was scheduled to begin on May 29.
The decision follows the previous cancellation of most of the college baseball season. Important since college players make up the bulk of the Valley League rosters - and the stay-at-home order issued on Monday by Governor Ralph Northam also made playing impossible as well.
