Father Warns Parents After Finding Something Gross In Juice Box

If their child is thirsty, most parents will hand over some water or a juice box without thinking much about it, however, an Indiana dad has a warning for fellow parents after finding something disgusting in a Capri Sun pouch. Cameron Hardwick posted a video on Facebook showing an unopened strawberry kiwi Capri Sun that he had planned to give it to his 3-year-old. However, he felt something wasn't right with the pouch since it was thinner than usual, though the package didn't have any holes in it.

He shook up the juice and through the pouch's clear bottom, could see there was some kind of substance in it, so he picked up his phone to record himself opening it. What he captured was pretty nasty.

Cameron pours out the juice and in it seems to be some kind of mold. It's actually an issue Capri Sun is aware of. In the FAQ on their website, they note that the naturally occurring food mold is rare. They go on to say, "We care deeply about this issue and about the well-being of our moms, dads and kids. That's why we have invested millions of dollars in our packaging, quality and manufacturing processes to make our pouches even stronger and more resistant to air leaks. We recommend that parents gently squeeze each pouch to check for leaks before serving Capri Sun to their kids. Any leaky or punctured pouches should be discarded."

Cameron isn't pleased though and said in his video, "To say we are irate would be an understatement... we don't give these to our children often but will NEVER again."
