Jordan's King Abdullah: Jerusalem Is Key To Peace

Jordan's King Abdullah says East Jerusalem must be the capital of any future Palestinian state.

The king was expressing concern Sunday over President Trump's recent decision to recognize the city as the capital of Israel, upending decades of U.S. foreign policy in the region.

Abdullah said the U.S. decision would stoke tensions and fuel radicalism.

He added that Jerusalem is important to Muslims, Christians and Jews and is the key to peace in the region.
