* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow and sleet accumulations between 4 and 6 inches and storm total accumulations around 6 to 10 inches. Ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. For the Winter Weather Advisory, freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations around one to two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...Augusta and Rockingham Counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 AM EST Wednesday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 3 PM Wednesday to 4 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact today`s evening commute, as well as both the morning and evening commutes on Wednesday. Roads may become impassable due to the combination of heavy, wet snow through tonight, followed by significant icing Wednesday afternoon and evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The steadiest snow is expected through this evening. Snowfall rates around 1 to 2 inches per hour and visibility below one half mile are possible during this time. A light wintry mix is possible Wednesday morning into the midday, before a steadier period of freezing rain occurs late Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night.
