From the Harrisonburg Police FB Page: An escort procession to bring the two fallen Bridgewater College officers home is tentatively leaving Roanoke at 2:00pm today and will head up the 81 corridor to 33 East in Harrisonburg.
PLEASE NOTE: if you do not have to drive in the area of East Market Street from Burgess Road out to Stone Spring Road between 4pm and 5pm this afternoon, we ask that you avoid the area as traffic patterns and intersections will be heavily affected.
Please be respectful of the procession and if you are going to stand anywhere to pay respects, please be cautious of traffic, do not block any open roadways, and obey any directives by first responders.
